Reiki is an amazingly simple technique that anyone can learn
Reiki is not only a practical tool to assist others; one of the advantages of Reiki is that it works just a well on yourself and that whilst you give to others you also receive the benefit of the energy. It is simply wonderful.
The ability to use Reiki is not taught but is passed on to the student during an “attunement” given by a Reiki Master (Reiki teacher). With the Reiki attunement, the student’s life force is boosted and it enables them to assist others in their healing process.
The training is intensive and thorough; all classes are a combination of lectures, discussions, meditations, demonstrations and hands on practice. All techniques are explained, demonstrated and practiced so that each student becomes confident in their use. All attunements are given and a comprehensive class manual is included.
I teach all levels of Reiki from beginners to Master. I like to accompany my students on their healing journey, which is why I offer classes over a period of four weeks for Reiki I and six weeks for Reiki II. It is a personal choice, which gives the students more time to practice and assimilate in between classes and the opportunity to share their experience and learn from one another.
I appreciate that we live in a fast paced society where time has become a rare commodity and I do accommodate those who prefer to learn over a weekend and practice on their own. I also provide for those who are not comfortable in a group and would rather learn privately.
